Waldgaststätte Siebensäure in Sehmatal-Neudorf

Last Sunday after a hike I repeatedly stood in front of a locked door and that in great weather. If you are lucky enough to find an open restaurant, you can get tasty home-style cooking at fair prices.

No reliable opening times although it says open on the net.

Unfortunately during the holidays the restaurant is closed from Monday to Thursday.

From Oberwiesenthal you can hike there - approx. 7 km - in the Siebensäure restaurant there is good cuisine that can be enjoyed indoors in the restaurant or in the beautiful beer garden. If the way back is too far, you can take the shorter hike to Neudorf and take the Bimmelbahn back to Oberwiesenthal

A perfect hiking destination from O-thal. The domicile is beautifully situated. There is exactly what you need to eat & drink. Unfortunately, the ravages of time have already gnawed in some places. Would love to come back. .

Childhood memories, mega delicious food and still inexpensive.

Beautifully hidden in the forest with calm

Cozy, simple stop. Conveniently located and suitable for hikes over the day also suitable opening times. Reasonably priced, delicious food. Gladly again

Small but nice. The food is good and cheap. It would only be desirable if the opening hours of the mentioned on the Internet differ at the beginning of the trail. We were lucky that we went there on a Thursday there. Arrived at the top, instead of Tuesday, the rest day was also on Wednesday.

After a hike we arrived in the restaurant. Really tasty home cooking.

Very well visited location which is friendly and clean. The inn exudes tranquility and is typically decorated for this area. Our food was without complaint and ample in volume. A clear tip for a stop.

After a long cross country tour we wanted to have lunch here on Monday. Both on the Internet as well as on the information boards in Oberwiesenthal the rest day was given as Tuesday. On site then in the entrance area with chalk on a blackboard: "Monday + Tuesday rest day" ... that's not possible. And we were not the only disappointed!

Very unfriendly service, we were completely ignored for 15min. I had a wild soup, which was deliciously tasty, but it was served lukewarm. My family had pancakes with ice cream that was good. The food in general looked good. And everything is cheap. We will not come back!
